1. Video Tutorial: How to set up your primary sales channel

Before you can start adjusting your settings, you will need to define your primary sales channel. This specifies your main marketplace, which will be displayed to you first by default. If you want to use the full potential of Kaufland Global Marketplace and sell on multiple Kaufland marketplaces, you can add additional sales channels later in the process.

2. Onboarding Checklist: These are the settings you need to apply before you launch

  • Set your shipping settings
The shipping group must include Germany for Kaufland.de, the Czech Republic for Kaufland.cz, Slovakia for Kaufland.sk, Poland for Kaufland.pl and Austria for Kaufland.at. Otherwise it will not be saved. Shipping costs must be set in the respective country’s currency. Shipping groups and offers are linked during onboarding. Offers can only be created after at least one shipping group has been added.
  • Create offers
You can already list product data (in the local language) and offer data (in the local currency) for the new channels.
  • Complete tax information
As a seller in the EU, all you need to do is add your OSS number if you didn’t enter it during registration. You do not need to go through separate tax registrations for each country.
  • Save country-specific legal texts
The legal texts must be saved in the local language and must follow local law. Our partners are happy to help you further.
  • Enter a return address
You can either use your Kaufland.de return address or add another one for the new sales channels.
  • Check the warehouse settings
Optionally, you can add further warehouses for the new sales channels.
  • Go live and get started:
When you have finished changing the settings to get started, you can activate the sales channel. To do so, click on “Activate now” on your dashboard view.

  • What happens after registration?

Once your account has been activated, click on the link in the activation e-mail and log in with your log-in data. Now select Kaufland.de, Kaufland.sk, Kaufland.cz, Kaufland.pl or Kaufland.at as your primary country sales channel. This will also be used to bill the monthly subscription fee. You will then be redirected to the further settings and can start with the onboarding. You can add further country-specific sales channels at any time free of charge.

If you want to add more sales channels, go to your dashboard view in the Seller Portal. In the upper area you will find a drop-down menu labelled “Add sales channel” and you can directly select the desired channel.
