How long does it take to translate a text?
Powerling translates an average of 2,000 words per day. Depending on the volume to be translated and the schedule, several translators can work simultaneously to speed up the process. It is also possible to order an automatic translation, which will be completed within one day.
An automatic translation is a translation that is predominantly created by using the latest machine translation technologies. This allows for a faster processing time and cost savings.

As a seller, do I get discounts on translation orders if I am registered with Kaufland Global Marketplace?
Yes, Powerling offers discounted prices to Kaufland Global Marketplace sellers and also discounts by language and word count. If texts containing many identical words are commissioned, the translation of these words will be charged only once. Sellers with Kaufland Global Marketplace also receive an average discount of approximately 20 percent compared to the standard prices.

Do I have to pay for additional preparation costs depending on the file I upload? If this is the case, how high are the costs?
It depends on the file format. To translate your text, we need to perform a product extraction from your file into our system. For a simple product extraction, there is no charge for file preparation. The price for additional preparation costs is usually €60 per hour.

What happens if I, as a seller, have to update my product data, for example? What costs can I expect?
Sellers can resubmit their texts to Powerling. Thanks to the translation memory, Powerling is able to immediately recognise the new content or the changes. The cost per new word is the same as for the first order.

What language should I provide my data in for Powerling? Does the source language make a difference to the cost?
Powerling can work with any source language. Depending on the language combination, it may be necessary to translate into English first. The costs for this depend on the language combinations in each case.
